Just be sure your buddy Poncho or José aproves, sorry, I'm bad with names. The guy you make burritos for every Sunday morning.

Maybe he would enjoy a nice lettucy salad?

With some arugula and radicchio?

We enjoyed some kolache this morning.

They don't eat lettuce.

There's a reason.

... and MEAT! I like my salads with meat meaty protieny MEAT!

Hamburger

I don't care... Meat, dressing, cheese, croutons etc... you know, all that stuff that makes salad awesome.

What about Lamb?

A mate gave me some of his wife's "secret recipe" marinade. From what I could tell there is lemongrass, garlic, ginger, chilli, soy sauce, oil and maybe some fish sauce and turmeric.

I marinated some lamb chops for 24hrs.

Then threw 'em on my gas grill.

Here's where the lettuce comes in. Iceberg lettuce, green beans, spring onions, tomatoes, celery, pan fried Polish sausage (cause why not right?  ) and my first picked pepper for the season, a Yellow Jalapeno. All drizzled with a little balsamic (probably not the real deal Boss, sorry :mope: ).

The marinade was amazing, so much flavor and a great pairing with the lamb. Will have to try and replicate this marinade for sure.

Now y'all can continue your non-lettuce posting banter.

SR.
