Longest chile competition

Another picture of that same pod... its really growing like crazy:

Measures at about 15cm... Far and away from any kind of record :). Still a nice pod.

By the way, considering its just a regular cayenne... I entertain no thoughts of it coming any where near close to any kind of a record ever... Just something interesting to look at while we wait on our sprouts :)

The end of the pepper hooked to the right, and in trying to straighten it, we broke ~1/2 inch off. Still happy with the length. Though the break could ruin the seeds I suppose. By the way, to for the rest of the world, that uses the metric system, this amounts to 26.67cm.

Also sorry for accidentally cutting the start of the pepper and yard stick off... I'll get a better picture when I pick it :)

I might be hard to tell from the picture, but that's about 12", and I'd give myself 1/8"-1/4" error based off of my patented measurement technique. It's a long thin cayenne in case anyone is interested.

Anybody else got anything big ripening up yet?
