Make your best taco.

And it doesn't have to be mexican.

I put ever dang 'thang on a flour or corn tortilla.

Thats a taco.

Make a bigger taco.

Thats a burrito.

Its all good.

Ever had a brisket and egg breakfast taco?

How about a sun dried tomato, goat cheese, roasted garlic, pequin, and refried bean taco?

The rules are this.

Keep it flour or corn.

Home made or store bought.

If you post a pita taco I will like you but then unlike you.

And then probably still like you again if it looks really good.

Get crazy.

Lime cilantro chicken thighs with pequin powder.

I love pequins.

Flat topped.

Like a naval aircraft carrier.

Those damn paper plates.

Give it to me!

Do you guys have any recipes for whole grain or or something like that tortillas, that actualy are not hard as fck when they are cooked? mine are always like crackers or undercooked. I know they are cheap but i still prefer pure homemade dining experience :)

Try whole wheat flour imported from Italy. Long story short, they do it differently there and the pasta and pizza comes out way better using their whole grain. Like, it doesn't taste like sawdust it compares to the regular. :)

This tip came from my Italian store, old school Italian knowledge.

Thanks, i will take a look at this. Luckily for me, im a student in city called Nova Gorica, in Slovenia and its actually small city which borders to Italy. I buy a lot of stuff there, maybe i even move there since apartments are cheaper there. I'll try to find farmers market, which are quite popular around Slovenia and Italy and try to find pure, homemade flour.

Negative.

Italians make great bread.

And pizza dough.

But they don't know shit about making tortillas.

It ain't about the flour.

Use any flour you want.

Corn.

Wheat.

And then lard.

Water.

Salt.

A little baking powder.

Thats it.

Use a press.

Or pin it.

Doesn't matter.

Butt

Rocket.

I ate quite a lot of pizzas in italy and let me tell you something. We have much better pizzas here in Slovenia. Most of their pizzas are dry and unnecessary thick, too small and overrated. Perhaps original, napoli pizza, made with special dough, mozzarella and tomatoes is really different in some special way,but generally, their pizzas suck.

And one more thing.. Not to criticize, but why do you write in so many lines? it makes harder to read.

TB your suggestion is fine as well, but you can add it without negating mine as I do know it makes for a better product.

I grew up in the Rio Grande Valley of South Texas.

The school I went to was 99% mexicans.

All my friends were mexicans.

My family ate like mexicans.

My brother is married to a mexican.

My sister is married to a mexican.

Whom I went to school with.

My sister has been making tortillas.

Like a mexican for her husband.

For almost 40 years.

It wasn't my intention to insult you for your post.

I apologize for that.

But.

I know a 'thang or two.

About tortillas.
