Moruga vs Mutt...

Well I have some monster Moruga plants- 6 ft tall. I also have a Moruga-like mutt. It came from a Reaper plant I took seeds from . Now the parent Reaper had not so reaperlike pods too. Anyhow the mutt has Moruga like features ,is very hot but WAY MORE prolific than my Morugas.  I picked 6.22 lbs of this two year old mutt at one time vs  4-5  lbs off these 4 huge Morugas... No contest for me. Im saving the mutts seeds and hopefully its seedlings will bear its resemblance....Bob

long as its got flavor and heat then so be it !  not all about looks .

My mutts that I assume to be f1s are also way more prolific than anything else. Is that common practice?

 Dont know but that has been the case with all the reaper mutts Ive grown in the last two years. Bob
