My first year of growing chillies

Here are just a few pics of some of my chillies. The first pic is a cayenne. The second is a Thai Dragon and the other are 2 where labeled red chili they have some browning on the leaves. Any ideas what that is?

:welcome: to the THP
plants looking great

the brown looks like fert burn

best of luck on your grow

Nice!!

You're well on your way for a terrific growing season!!

I noticed that the last two looks like it may have some fert burn.

Good Luck!!

Welcome !!! Your plants look very healthy, you could cut the first couple of pods that come out early in the growing of the plant, that whey the plant will develop more roots and grow bigger and get more yields in the long run.

The pods are the early chillies starting to grow after the flower has dropped off? Do I cut it at the pod side of the shoot or the stem side of the shoot?

Fert every couple of weeks. And cut back on the amount!

Cutting early flowers of a plant is one thing. But I don't think I would cut off that large pod - most of the energy to create it has ALREADY been expended by the plant. And it looks like it is about ready to get ripe! ;)
