My little field

Today I started planting on my new field. There is an organic farmer less than two miles away who offers little lots of land to organic hobby gardeners. My neighbor has two lots of about 1000 square feet each this year and needs only 1500 square feet so I took the rest. The lots are handed out anew every year in early spring and plowed under in the end of October. The gardeners are only allowed to plant organic seeds and organic plants. I will plant my pepper plants there and will add cucumbers, zucchini, onions, leek and maybe some lettuce and cabbage. No pics for now but they will follow as I plant and care and harvest.
The soil is clay based but mellow and very rich of humus.

So you're looking at a lot size of about 31 ft x 31 ft…my, you could fit in 250 + superhots, that's a lot of hotties!!

We love pics!!
