these are my bhut jolokia (ghost pepper)

my thai hots, the one in the back i trimmed some crapy leaves off, so it looks tall and skinny

i still have to take pictures of the 6 in the garden and i have a thai chilli beside the house, i also have 2 carolina reapers that are just now pushing out their first true leaves, i am making a time lapse video of that so i will post it when it is done.

i usually keep all my plants under lights 24/7 just for the first 8 weeks or so. i find they double in size and get to the blooming stage a little faster that way, that reaper in the video is only 2 weeks old and been under lights the entire time, as you seen in the video 54 hrs and 24 minutes, 1088 pictures. one every 3 minutes and it didnt stop growing at all and still hasnt, i am going to post another clip as soon as i convert it into a video

here is my 5 week old reaper plant, been outside since day 1

compare that to my 2 and a half week old reaper plant, been under lights 24/7 since day one

its hard to tell but the 2.5 week old is actually a little bit bigger and they are both pushing out their 6th set of true leaves.

here is the 2nd part of the time lapse, i am still recording and will post more

Sucks to hear that your cat knocked it over, hopefully it recovers...
thanks, it did recover, it was half way through the second video i posted that it got knocked over, for some reason you cant see it take a bow, but i assure you it does lol, if you watch the second video you will see the dirt in the pot change, thats cause after the cat knocked it over i re-potted it and added more dirt.

lol i had to watch the video again, but yes it is at 1:12 that it takes a bow and stands right back up, it took it a couple hrs to actually do that, but when it takes a picture every 5 minutes and i have each picture only showing for .05 seconds 1 hr goes by in half a second lol

so check this out, i wanted to put my plants progression on here for the last 2 weeks, tell me what you think, i have given them 18-18-21 MG ferts twice in that 2 weeks as well

Nice work! Your Ring of fire plants are loaded.
thanks, they are loaded, i ate one the other day, tasted like shit cause they are far from fully grown or ripe. had a hard to explain nasty taste. but boy did it have the heat wow it got me choking and i had the hiccups and everything lol. i wasnt expecting that much heat lol

Haha I have never grown that type of cayenne, but I agree cayenne are nasty tasting when they are still green. I would love to know how you like them when they ripen. Do you know what you are going to do with them? Sauce, powder, flake?

lol.
i was actually thinking about a smoked powder with them. i am going to save a few fresh pods and see how they taste then, possibly saving seeds.
the rest of the pods (bhuts, habs ect...) i think i might ferment then make a nice sauce, or something along the lines of it
