How Hot is the area you germinate in? Just outta curiosity... I had my best results on top of my t5... I've been seeing here and there that some of the Thp'ers have been having low germ rates. Not that your doing anything wrong. There was a case study done at a university (long time ago and forgive me I forget where) that found germ rates go way up w bottom heat and temps in the high 80's to low 90's. I never would have gone that high but, ya it is very accurate. Just a thought for anyone out there experiencing the dreaded low germ...

yea i tried bottom heat in burpee seat starter with heat mat and therm at 83...tried in a wet towel in a ziplock on heat mat and thats when that one seed germed...think ill have to order more from
The Chilli Pepper Company
, but it just takes like 3 weeks to reach me since its overseas for me..
