Need meters - which ones?

So I've got a hydro set up I started last week (that already looks awesome), also am starting to play with sauces. I see that I'm going to neet a PPM and PH meter to get serious about this hobby, is something like this overkill?

I plan on sticking to this hobby, I really enjoy it, so what do you suggest I get to get the right tool for the PH/PPM meters that are apparently needed? I'd rather spend the extra money now instead of on something that I'll want to upgrade on later.

Thanks for the feedback

i would not personally... that thing is basically a 50$ ec meter stuck to a 40$ph meter.

i would stick to individual meters. make sure to get a ph meter that auto calibrates too, that thing looks like it has little screwdriver pots... looks like a pita to use.

you can get a great deal on ph meters on ebay if you are vigilant. a good PH electrode will cost you like 40 bucks.

edit:
also see this thing?

atleast it autocalibrates. altho only to one point.which is kinda sucky, but w/e.

TBH, if it takes standard BNC electrodes, its not that bad of a deal. if you cannot replace it with other electrodes i would stay away.

I've bought ph meters and probes from here: http://www.aquaticeco.com/ I have koi and buy supplies. They have a few options. just go to Koi, then testing equiptment.
