New sauce and new toys!!!

I have a friend who homebrews his own beer. So I asked him to come over and he brought me his

I was in the process of cleaning it when I snapped the pic. 
Super excited (who doesn't love free stuff). He gave me a glass 1/2 gallon jug and two airlocks.
 
After that I made this

Its fermented jalapenos and onions. A little habanero, apples, garlic, brown sugar, honey, cinnamon, a little salt, and a little vinegar.
 
Smells like spicy applesauce!
 
SWEET!  Gifted air locks and a jug!  
 
 
 
Looks like you have some cool stuff brewing there....  :)

I'm experimenting with different salts from different parts of the world. I've heard that mineral-rich salts help the fermentation process. Not sure how true that is but I likr the idea of the nuances it can add.
