Omri's Great Chile Porn Topic

Omri great pics. Now I have to work on my other half to look for some land in Mediterranean area so we could move there and grow peppers year around. I have been in major disagreement with this cold weather in mini Alaska

The pics are really beautiful!!

I especially love the Bangladeshi Naga Reds/Yellows and the Raga Mirch.

Keep them coming please!!

Thanks, Jack
Thank you. :)
I will.

You keep saying that... come on over already! :D

Beautiful pictures. All the pods look really good and you've got a few varieties there that I haven't seen before as well.
Thank you. I hope these new pods are a good thing.

Well he is madly in love with this cold weather and I'm totally opposite. I should give him an ultimatum:"If you want me to cook for you some yumy food from my neck of the wood, than you have to move there because they would taste even better over there!!!!!!!!" On serious note, you have a great talent for pics so keep them coming. :)

fantastic pictures, King Omri

Thank you, dear friend. you're way too kind. :)
Yes, there is still active pod production. it has slowed down a bit since it is "winter" (), but still harvesting at full throttle. it will get colder eventually and pod production will stop. I'm enjoying my really long season as long as it lasts. :)

Can't take credit for that one. I only grow it.
It truly is a wonderful chile. very productive and very hot. received the seeds a couple of years ago (indirectly) from a farmer in Bangladesh.

Thanks again, dear friend.
Have a good day.

Some nice pics of the Bangladeshi Naga, Omri.
I have growing, some Nagas from next door, they originated in Burma/Myamar and look similiar.
Hows your OSE12 growing, whats the taste like?

What, did you take those photos with a phone camera or something..?? :P

J/K! Seriously top-notch photos, Omri--even more so considering you took them with a phone camera! Amazing!

Thank you, brother. :)
A Naga from Burma, really? that's really odd. well if they're anything like mine, they sure are awesome.

Well the OSE12 has a very fruity, red C. chinense flavor. reminds me a lot of a Caribbean Red for some reason (:P). it's much hotter, though.

Hehe... thank you, Gas.
You've just spilled the beans, and apparently a lot of people here don't appreciate beans much. especially in their chili.

Yes, all those pictures were taken using a camera phone. some of the older ones with a real cheap one, too.

Not Really, Burma is just next door and there are many Bangldeshians and Indians living there,
they probably bought the strain over years ago????

That makes sense. so does that mean it's an older form of the varieties we grow now? or maybe it has changed a bit by crossing or selective breeding?

Oh, I wasn't supposed to say anything?

It just reinforces, it's not the camera that takes good photos, it's the person behind it. ;)

Nah, I'm just kidding, dear friend. :)

Thank you so much for the kind words. was actually considering to buy a proper camera and was too afraid the the difference won't justify the cost.

Very nice presentation Omri. If the thread continues this classy I will have to put on a top hat and extra large monocle!

How are the Nagabons? I am hoping to produce some pods this season.

Feel free to dress casual. ;)

The Nagabons are a true success. good heat, good flavor and EXTREMELY productive. I'm considering of replacing my standard Habanero plants with Nagabons next year.
