Pepper from owner of Chinese Restaurant

Need help with some id.
I got these peppers from the owner of a Chinese place and I cant remember the name he gave me for them. He grows them himself. It's a great tasting pepper reminds me of a thai chili (heat level and type of heat) but the outer skin has a very sweet flavor of a bell pepper. Any ideas??

Sorry no one has been in to offer suggestions yet.  If I had to guess I'd say that pepper looks like a 'jalachuan' which I think is a cross between a jalapeno and a chaiotian pepper I got from Buckeye pepper co last year.  Is the pepper soft to the bite or crunchy?

No worries thanks for the response! It's somewhere in the middle it has a crunch but it is deffinantly on the softer side.

Looks like a baby morich to me,
