I ordered seeds from Asiasgarden earlier this year. Some Bhuts are red and odd shaped for a bhut as they are kind of small. This one plant I have been getting ripe pods this orange color. This one is fully ripe now. What is the deal? Any ideas? I will post pics of the other ripe ones later today. It definitely looks like a bhut but it is orange?

could just be a yellow Bhut plant! did you try the pepper to test for heat?
I like the look of the yellows ones too!

looks like a fatalii

it may have been a "jumper" seed (one that jumped and bounced into the 'wrong' pile)

what other peppers did you plant?

how well did your others from that source grow?

it looks tasty try and eat it

That is what I was thinking. I ate half of it on my pizza. It was very hot but I don't think "bhut" hot. The heat subsided very quickly.

FATALII im almost sure

there is one way to tell cut it open and if it is very cirusy in smell its a FATALII, YELLOW BHUTS have some citrus aroma but not like a FATALII FLAVOR IS DIFFERENT TOO

Probably just a plane old Bhut... Get them all the time in the local ethnic markets near me, hot as hell

A smaller one i bought back in early may.

They do come a little bigger... i think these are imported from South Asia, they are available all year round.
