ok 3 types here. I need help to ID them

the yellow one is very hot

the red one has very little heat but lots of flavor

Chinese Super Hot , #479 and #599 of that guys 600 varieties...

yellow pods-
Datil, devil's tongue , fatalii , Bonda Ma Jacques or........

My Black Pearl pods were perfectly round,not like those pods at all.
#1 and #2 resemble too many other peppers to I.D.


Would help if you gave a hint as to what you planted or thaught you planted,assuming you grew them and just lost the lables or whatever.

yes they are an odd shape for black pearls, thats why Im asking :)

and we can rule out Devils Tounge as I have those plants and the flavour is quite different

friends at work gave me the pods and didnt know themselves what they were .... but I'll be planting in early spring

Makes it tough when you don't know what the plant looked like either.
Lots of pod variation in the yellows.

The other ones could possibly be narrowed down some if for instance you knew if the #1 plant had green leaves,purple leaves or whatever and if it had several color changes in the pods.

The pic looks like it might go from purple to orange to red and upturned pods(looks like part of the branch is on the stem and the stem is straight).
#2 looks to have pendant pods by the one curled stem.
Doesn't help much though...
