just opened my grow closet and noticed a pepper already!!! Problem is its on a plant in a 12 oz cup no taller than than 6 or 8 inches , hmm guess this hps light isnt goin to work out or is this common for some varieties? is this just because its an hps light maybe ? should be metal halide? thx in advance

I'd just pinch off the pepper.
HPS is for budding and probably the reason behind this, definately use a MH for initial growing..
