pepper vs stomach

as i was driving along one day, a question popped into my head.
Could a life of eating hot peppers eventually burn a hole in your stomach lining? if so, things might get a little nasty for me
Can anyone refer this to be true, or is it just on occasion, it could happen?

xykon

Peppers don't actually "burn" what they touch, they send signals to the brain that makes you feel the burning pain. For example, I could eat a frozen pepper and it will still be just as hot as a room temperature one. And peppers aren't really acidic so they can't burn a hole in your stomach that way either

Providing there is no stomach ulcer, your stomach will be protected. A regular intake would keep your stomach very healthy.

Having a stomach loaded with ulcers and superhots however does lead to cancer. No risks if your stomach is healthy.
