Pod size??

Well I have my first pod on a Bih Jolokia and it's only the size of the tip of my thumb!! Is this normal and should I expect teh same on all my plants for their first pods or am I doing something wrong???

Will post a pic in a little bit.

As promised here is the pic. The pod is a tiny bit bigger than it appears in this pic (it goes diagonally backwards) but you get the idea. Any ideas?

I noticed that late late fall, winter, and early, early spring pods on many plants are often dwarfed or never attain standard size. Once day length increases pods should start developing/growing normal.

Cheers Jesse. I hope it's that simple. We shall see when these next pods grow on all my other plants that are budding quite majorly.

the Bihs will get about 5-7cm long so no, that is not a normal size...

remember with peppers, patience is a virtue...
