Post Your Crappy Spicy Food

Hey y'all.

Been thinkin' about this one for a few weeks now. I know some of y'all eat some really ghetto stuff and from time to time I do also. I'm quite sure some of y'all have seen some of my posted pics and thought to yourself..."Daaaaaang TB! That looks like ass!" So recently I got to thinkin'. Yeah I know thats dangerous.

I know for a fact y'all eat some weird sheeit-o-meter stuff. I betcha' dollah's to donut's there's a few of y'all that you've cooked up only the finest .25 cent on sale Ramen and thought it would be goodern ' hell if only it had a can of pork n' beans mixed up in it. And of course adding some hot powder and/or hot sauce makes it completely legit.

So this is the thread where y'all all come clean and posty your most mangled sickening crap that you've made and eaten.

A few rules for posting.

1. Tell us about the ingredients used.

2. Post the spiceenescxt. A heat ingredient is mandatory!

3. Words without a pic to back it up are worthless. Pics are mandatory!

4. Absolutely no foo foo in this thread but its more than cool and the gang to describe it as such.

5. This is supposed to be a fun but revealing thread. Lets just have fun.

We that's it then.

Let me start this train wreck of a thread.

The other night I had some leftover pasta my friend Chico made with anchovies, capers, tomato, chiles, and some other stuff. Didn't have really enough to make a meal size portion so I added some other ingredients.

Microwave radiated leftover orcchiette pasta putanesca with only the finest hand opened bag of generic frozen peas and carrots with topped with sour cream and jalapeno tomato vinaigrette reduction.

Too bad I had all the decent sized bowls running in the dishwasher.

So I opted to serve this delectable culinary delight up in only the best doggy fine china. Gracias missylou.

Sure it looks like something missylou ate and then barfed up but it was dang tasty y'all!

As the stuff was being microwaved the smell of the anchovies from the leftover sauce in the pasta started really smelling up the house. mrs. blues hollah' at me from down the hall in her office from where she was working.

"Something is stinkin' to high heaven in there. Would you please take out the garbage for the love of GOD!!!!"

So what y'all got?

Leftover little smokie's wrapped in soggy wonder bread and baked in the oven with globs of velveeta on top?

4 day old meatloaf nacho's?

Post it up and let us rate just how bad it truly is.

Now get on it.

And save the holier than thou crap that you never eat stuff like this because we KNOW YOU DO!

Ever body knows Jay shaves with 3 day old leftover hot dog water.

Not knowing that crap in there, I distrust all in one packaged foods

That's probably a good attitude to have.  Maybe not ALL packaged foods, but probably MOST packaged foods.

I definitely won't be cooking these ribs-in-plastic on a weekly basis.  BUT!!!! just thought of this.....for the price....I could take 'em out of the plastic, cook 'em more traditional, eliminate the plastic....add some sauce....  hmmm, have to think about that...
The Floyd Fork reference-

Keith Floyd was an irreverent food show personality on BBC back in the 80-90's.  There are lots of episodes on YT, lots of funny and informative stuff.  In one episode, there was a fork resting on the edge of a flattop.  Keith picked it up to taste the dish, burned his fingers and threw the fork...

When I put the ribs back into the oven with some additional sauce, I folded over the plastic bag and laid a fork on top of the bag to hold it closed.  When the pan was pulled out, the fork went off to the side, I opened the plastic bag and grabbed the (very clean but VERY HOT) fork that had just been in the oven to pull apart the ribs....

(yea, I know...dumba$$ to me!!!!)

Silvadine Rules.

Perfectly understand and not criticize!! It is also true that sometimes time is short and you have to improvise somehow. That's what the post and you'll show me  :drunk:

No criticize taken, Cypress, for sure!  There are definitely times when cooking times are short and we do what we do to get dinner on the table.

Just wait till third sends me his cat,I will show you insult! :)

Kiki would be glad to send you a furball!
Even if the vodka was mixed with Fresh-Squeezed Orange Juice.....It's Booze...Immediate PASS!  Or Win?  Or.....Fail????

  I forget which way we're supposed to be voting.

BTW, 3rdCoast, didn't you say my salad dressing looked like cat puke?  You seem to have quite a knowledge of what cat puke looks like.
I know I'm a little late on this but look at the fur on this p.... umm cat. That mixed with table scraps she steals looks like a lot of food on this thread when she hacks it up!!! :)

Kid dropped by from college and I threw together a Midwestern Gumbo type thingy.Got white whine for a sauce{oops no cork screw}not much of a whine drinker.Thank you cordless drill for helping me get to the liquid. The recipe was to long to post as I was making it up as I went along. But it did include noodles and my left over dirty rice from yesterday. It did not turn out as corkey as I thought it would.

At first glance I thought those were bags of Fritos - a brand of corn chip sold here. But you won't find "pollo" on bags of Fritos. Gotta admit, even the idea of putting those bocaditos in my mouth is kind of repulsive - hope they tasted better than what conjured up in my mind!

Not to gloss over the latest entry, which didn't look all that crappy btw, but back to SL oven ribs.  EVEN I TAKE THEM OUT OF THE BAG!

Wait. So does this mean you actually buy the cook-in-bag kind and remove them from the bag???? Wow, if so…….

Copious amounts of hot peppers heals most anything, including food. Good job there, U - that truly looks like leftover hangover hell!

Leftover soup: lentils, two instant noodle 'flavour packs', leftover roast beef, random veggies, like, 7 onions, a bunch of cut up fish sticks (I regret nothing!), and copious amounts of powdered hot peppers from last season.

Good gravy. That sounds like something one could make by kicking the fridge and scooping up whatever happened to fall on the floor. Good Work!
