Question about making a simple really hot chili!

Can you make a simple chili using:

-3 jalapeno's
-4 Habanero's
-1 ghost pepper
-1 carolina reaper
-beef
-tomato sauce
-onion powder
-garlic powder

I wouldn't be cooking a huge portion of it in a big pot or anything. I only want to make a small portion for myself in small pan or something!

I have never cooked a chili before so i wanted to ask before i waste my peppers!

You'll want to use chili powder (make your own), and add in some cumin. IMHO chili is nothing w/o cumin.

Otherwise, yes you could theoretically make chili from those ingredients.

My basic ingredient list for chili (mild, b/c small children eat it) goes like this:

1lb ground beef
1 large onion chopped
3-5 bell/sweet peppers (depends really)
1-2 cloves of garlic
1 can of diced tomatoes
1 can of kidney beans
chili powder, paprika powder and cumin in varying amounts.

3  to 3 1/2 lbs. coarse ground beef
3 chopped bell peppers- I like the yellow, orange and red
2 large chopped onions
**saute' above in a little olive oil***
3 TBS chili powder
1 TBS paprika – smoked if you like the flavor
2 TBS cumin
2 TBS brown sugar
1 t oregano
1 TBS Tabasco or your favorite substitute. (I make my own version)
1 TBS salt
1 can beef broth
1- 14.5 oz. can tomato puree
1- 14.5 oz. can chopped tomatoes or I like fresh if available.
2- 14.5 oz. cans red or black beans (optional) I like both
3 ozs. tequila optional
1 TBS minced garlic
1 cup or can chopped chili peppers
2 whole hot jalapeños and Serrano Peppers (remove after amount of heat is to your liking)

This recipe won the Mississippi chili cook-off 2 years in a row.

For extreme Pepper heads add  4-6 of your super-hots but you will be the only one enjoying your chili.

After cooking the meat and sautéing the onions/peppers, I like to throw in a small amount (based on size of pot of chilli) of masa (1 TBSP for a big pot) before adding the liquids (tomato sauce, etc).  Adds heartiness and flavor.

Hmm i made my chili with

-4 jalapenos
-4 habaneros
-1 ghost chili
-1 carolina reaper
- cumin
-1 zucchini squash
-1 ortega chili packet
- chopped bell peppers
-garlic

I had my grandmother cook it so i dont know how much cumin she exactly put in it. But she put a really good amount.

But it was not that hot!

Im just going save the my dried pods for pepper eatting challenges and buy whole fresh super hots of my choice.

I didnt see the very bottom because i was in a rush to make my chili lol. I guess im not really doing anything wrong with the peppers, im just not using enough to make a super hot recipes. I kept thinking i was doing something wrong everytime i make something, because i was having trouble making hot sauces adding pepper to hot sauce bottle from the local groceries store. Thanks for the comment i appreciate it.
