I'm growing jalapeno seedlings and I was wondering how to keep them from being spindly.

put them really close to the lights, if you don't have lights then you should get some lights (if you're using high intensity lights don't put them that close cuz its too warm, but i'm gonna go ahead and assume you aren't). i use cfl and manage fine, when you pot up make the soil level up to the seed leaves, and then have a fan on them regularly (like a half hour a day is plenty).

I have a grow light I bought at walmart I'm thinking about converting one of my 10 gallon tanks to a seedling tank. My seedlings are about 2 inches tall and spreading out their 2 leafs really wide.

Lower the light and place a fan close to it, blowing a light breeze on the plants.
