Hi, I came across what I believe to be a Chiltepin plant in the greenhouse at school. I figured no one would mind if I picked off one ripe pod and collected the seeds from it so I cut open a pod and collected one little seed. Then, i decided to foolishly chew the pod which turned out to be quite the experience. Anyways, long story short, I am sitting at my computer with a burning hot mouth wondering if I should let this seed dry out completely before i try and germinate it or should i just plant it right now.
I am also going to try and track down the owner and see if they will let me take a cutting so I can clone the plant.
Any advice is appreciated
