Question: Distance between plants?

in bed planting should be 18" inches or more...and distance between beds should be minimum 1.5 meters, if you have a enough space...similar to Potawie...I went to a habanero 3 acre farm here in my country, around 18,000 plants...they planted at 10" inches in bed, and the distance between beds is 1 meter...right know they have problems with the workers when they harvest, because the plants grew to the side a lot and they lost the space to walk between the beds...so when they are harvesting, they go through the plants and knock down a lot of unripe peppers...

Potawie nice setup...

I've got three plants in a four-foot space (concrete blocks on the end) and 16" between rows!

It's a variation of Square Foot Gardening - Square Foot and a Quarter Gardening!

By fall, I figure I'll have a 164 sq. ft. root ball!
