God bless Les. Grab your guitar plug it in to the heavenly amp and give 'em some scorching 12 bar. You'll never know how many people's lives you changed for the better. I'm gutted to see you go.

Damn! Thanks Les for all the years of great recording and entertainment. Without you there would not be modern music as we know it.

Breaking News!! Les Paul

All I can say is that what he created, helped create rock music! That rich, thick, warm, crunchy tone from his creation is what got me into playing music. Tonight I will chop up my Fenders with a hatchet to pay homage to Les Paul...... .....No....wait I still use those..... but if anyone sees him in the after life, please tell him that I did do that.

...and he was only 94 years old
