soil Rockwool Cubes in Soil?

I started 4 different rockwool cubes after setting up a single-plant bubbler. Given my luck germinating seeds, I figured I'd be alright. Chocolate habanero came up and went into the hydro... several days later my lemon drop, goat pepper and lemon basil sprouted! Good! Bad! Confusing!

I have no room for them in my current hydro setup. I might eventually buy a larger 6 pod bubbler.. but for these guys, can I stick them right in soil with the cube? I have no idea whether this is perfectly normal or utterly dipshit stupid.

i put my basket with rockwool into a coir container filled with soil, then move the coir container into a 1 gallon plastic container packed with soil.
