Rockwool vs. Rapid Rooter

Alright this is late to the discussion but has any one tried the Parks Bio Sponges or their Bio Dome w/ sponges? Their Bio Sponges look a sound alot like Rapid Rooters, just square instead of round.

They arrived today and look like they will fit perfectly in my Speedling tray. They are soaking in water now - seeds will be added in about 30 minutes. Probably 30 basil and 20 tomato. I'll have to try it but I think I can fit 600 seedlings under a 400 watt MH system. I know I will have room to raise 3200 seedlings in just a row in my GH.

Glad to hear they fit. let us know how well they work.

Initial impression - they don't wick up water very good. Submerged in water for more than 40 minutes and they are still rather dry. Not a problem, just need to deal with them a bit differently.
