If any of you happened to be wondering why I haven't been on here much as of late, this is the reason. Organizing this contest literally fell into my lap in the last few weeks, and all of the planning has taken up quite a bit of my free time. Thankfully, a huge chunk of the workload is almost completed, which will give me some time to focus on other things. But I am still expecting to dedicate countless hours toward this event between now and September, as well as quite a few sleepless nights. I'm sure all the effort will be worth it though.
Also, to make this topic somewhat chilehead-related, we have our first official sponsor signed on for the contest: Lucky Dog Hot Sauce. I'm stoked to have a hot sauce brand as our first sponsor, especially a company that puts out quality products like LDHS. (Thanks again, Scott.)
Anyhow, if any of you guys will be in the WNY area this September, you should try to make it out for this contest. It will be free for the general public, there will be raffles for prizes, and you will be able to see some high level competitive yo-yoing. If you have kids, this event will be perfect for them!
