Short Season Grower

Hello all - I am not what I would describe as a chile head. Sure, I love spicy food, and grow chilies, but I don't have room to grow that many types (plus living in Minnesota limits the season I have available). So, I am afraid I can only ever aspire to the heights of chile-dom. My aspirations here are to find the right chiles for me to grow. I find that I need hotter and hotter chiles to get the same sensation. But, I sure miss the flavors of some of the cooler varieties. I hope I can find a few ideal chilies to grow in my conditions by asking around here, and finally perfect my Caribbean chili recipe.

:welcome: from Minneapolis!

You can grow any chiles you want in MN if you start them early indoors.

Here's to a great season!

Yeah, I actually reckon milder chillies are normally better for flavour. Not really a huge fan of most of the superhot flavours... but they're growing on me! :D
