Another is talk to any landscaping company. I used to work for TruGreen landcare and we would just throw away all those black nursery pots the trees & shrubs came in. I used to take them home by the truckload.
 
That's not a bad idea but it is Potawies thread and it would have to be up to him...
 
Am I jumping the gun? Do I have to wait until it actually looks like a plant or does it count if it's only a hook?
