Sky's 2010 season.

Almost forgot.

Reject's Row East.
I have no idea what the three peppers are but they're doing pretty well considering.
They're in full shade.
They get only what water I remember to hose them with.
No additional fertilizer.
They're growing in a mixture of pine needles and 10 year old dog doo-doo.
The red leafed thing on the left side is one of my spare Coleus.

Better Boy Hybrid tomato that got so big it fell over and nearly smashed a fatalii to death is still ginormous, noticed it has already started. I'm afraid of this plant.

Quite a strong pod army you are forming SD. Can't wait to see you wage war with it. :hell:

Sky, Plants looking good man. Good to see everything looking nice and green. I'm glad the douglah i sent you is doing good too.
The barrackpore you sent me is doing awesome as well.
Good stuff!!

7 Pot Barrackpore finally showing some pod action. Woot.

My "Yellow" bed. From left to right: Devil's Tongue Yellow, Fatalii, that frakkin tomato plant, Yellow Scorpion CARDI, and a Jaloro.
The tomato in the middle is a Better Boy Hybrid. I originally planted it thinking to provide some shade to the scorpion and the fatalii. The thing is a damned monster. It's big in that pic, but I had just trimmed off at least as much as is left, maybe a bit more. It wasn't providing shade, it had completely enveloped the scorpion, and was taking over the fatalii, too. It has quite a few tomatos on it already. I had no idea it would get that big, that fast. It'll be nice come harvest time when I have gobs of tomatos to mess with, but for now, ugghhh. Lots of cuttings went on the compost pile.

Red Bed. From left to right: Caribbean Red, Bhut Jolokia, Antillais Caribbean, 7 Pot Jonah.

mixedbed2647324.jpg

Mixed bed. From left to right: Chocolate Habanero, 7 Pot Yellow, Supersteak Hybrid tomato, 7 Pot Barrackpore, Red Savina Habanero.

In all three beds, the timber in front is an 8 foot framing timber, in case you're curious about sizes.
Really really happy that the Barrackpore is setting fruit finally.
Still no clue what the supposed Aribibi Gusano is turning into, so again, if I mailed you seeds from it to grow this year, I apologize, I don't know what we're in store for.

All that work is starting to payoff a bit finally. My 7 pod Barrackpore is showing a few pods too diver. Appears we could both be in trouble. ;)

Plants look great, Skydiver. Congrats on the B7. Mine are flowering like crazy, but no pod set yet. Should have some on there by the weekend though. Oh yeah, definately gotta watch the maters. Mine are already approaching 8 feet tall and I still have nearly 5 months left in the season.

Heh, yeah. I'm fairly afraid of what it's going to be like when I eat one of those beauts.

Pod Porn time!

7potyellow36825390.jpg

7 Pot Yellow pods. Different shapes, different sizes, bumpy and gnarly looking, and loads of them on the plant. woot

7potjonah6800758.jpg

7 Pot Jonah is also fairly full of pods.

antillaiscaribbean16861.jpg

Antillais Caribbean Habanero is absolutely dripping with pods.

chocolatehabanero688108.jpg

Chocolate Habanero plants are all doing pretty darned well, too. Which is awesome, only have to look at them to rid myself of the remorse I feel for not growing any orange habs this year. I said I wouldn't and I stuck to it. I probably will grow orange habs again next year, but for now I'm ok with not having any. Tons of new stuff to try and they'll always be there.

redsavina6889858.jpg

Red Savina. More pods showing, the ones on there already are plumping up nicely.

My bhut is also showing some nice growth and setting fruit. All in all, things are going swimmingly.

Healthy pods, did you notice any difference in your plants after applying the plant-tone. Antillais Caribbean Hab is loaded with pods.

Seem to be a bit greener and bigger overall, also noticing much less flower drop.
The Plant-tone is also making the Momster's pumpkins and cucumbers and watermelons go nuts.

I found some Tomato-tone, btw. Going to start using that stuff when the next fertilizers are due.

awesome pods. coming in fast and furious. the yellow 7 looks really cool and doesn't look like the antillais wants there to be more leaves than pods on it!

My overwintered Trinidad Scorpion is turning a bit yellow, dropping leaves, generally not looking good.
You know what? I'm ok with that. I'm not all that impressed with that plant. It has the heat, but I wasn't all that crazy about it's (lack of) flavor. I seriously doubt I'll ever grow one of those again. I have plenty of other superhots going. The bhut in particular. Plenty of heat but tastes much better to me. Then there's all the new stuff I'm growing this year. If they have the taste to back up the heat, the TS is out of the picture permanently.

I may just pull the darned thing and use the container for something different.

Rained like mad here today. At one point I looked out of my window and it was raining f'ing UPWARD.
Seriously?
Potted peppers got hammered. Hopefully they're not too damaged. My early start tomato plants were all laying on the ground. Tore right through the cloth I had them tied with and in one case pulled a stake out of the ground.
Peppers in the ground seem ok.

Raining upwards.
Freaky.

Sky the plants look awesome. The antillais caribbean looks strange though. Look more like fatalii's than antillais
continue with your porn!

We had one of those rains the day after I took my inside plants outside. Knocked every one of them over. I hate seeing it rain upwards.

How's the potted plants doing diver? Hope they didn't get beat up too bad.

Updated pod porn time.

7potjonahs4977662.jpg

7 Pot Jonahs. Plant is full of em. Good times.

7potyellow4984042.jpg

7potyellow24991108.jpg

7 Pot Yellows looking deliciously evil and bumpy and gnarly. Quite a lot of peppers on that plant, as well.

redsavinas5040282.jpg

Red Savina with a respectable showing. Not loaded with pods, but still quite a few on the plant, and I'm really eager to try these.

Continued...

antillaiscaribbeanmaybe.jpg

Seeds labelled Antillais Caribbean. Looking different than what I saw in Hippy's vid, but the plant is loaded with pods. Absolutely choked with them. Whatever this plant is, I like it.

caribbeanreds5020276.jpg

Caribbean Reds. Three of these plants in the ground and they're finally starting to show off a bit.

bhutjolokia5010067.jpg

Bhut Jolokia. Kinda wish I had started more of these. Love the taste of them. Ah well, next year fo' sho'.

jaloros5033742.jpg

Jaloros. Almost ready to eat. I think. Never grew these before.
