Gorgeous. You UK guys make it look easy in spite of the winter, i have to ask where did you get those seed starting domes?

Hi Izzy, they are the Garland super 7 heated propagator. I got mine from amazon. Details here http://www.amazon.co.uk/Garland-Electric-Windowsill-Propagator-G51/dp/B000YA43HC

Works really well too.

So I have been having a problem with aphids and black fly on my plants. Been spraying with pyrethrum which is keeping them at bay as well as using paper sticky strips to catch the flies which seems to be working.

I have been germinating my chinense seeds over the last week or so and have done pretty well with germination rates. I have had to raise my LED light up a bit as it was getting a bit close to my more mature plants. Amazingly some of my long slim cayenne plants have started budding so I am going to leave them to see if they can actually produce proper chills under artificial LED lighting. Should be interesting.

So for my 2014 grow I have been having problems with fungus gnat flies so this weekend repotted all my plants and covered with perlite and vermiculite and will now bottom water to try and get rid of them. I have also been using fly papers and bug killer pot inserts to get rid of them.

After sterilising my grow area this is what I am left with, first off under my LED grow light
