Hi everyone and greetings from Austin, Texas! I set a goal this year to grow a plant from seed to fruit, as it is something I've never done before, and I figured that some hot pepper plants would be the most fun. So I grew the basics of jalapenos, serrano, Santa Fe, and habenero peppers. I have reached my goal and recently harvested a nice pound of jalapenos!
I am growing in containers and have certainly had and continue to have my share of challenges. I did a google search for growing hot peppers to look for more tips on this great hobby and here I am. Since I spent a couple of hours reading the forums and looking at pictures, I figured that I had to join.
Thanks for having me.
Best regards,
Rob T
