Very nice SG. Your pics are awesome.

I see on some of your plants you have the lower portions pruned. I have some Habs that are very bushy. Do you think it might inspire growth if I prune some of the leaves from the lower part of the plant? The plant is about 4 months old and seems to want to stay the same height but the leaves just keep getting bigger.

im wondering about that as well. where im planting, the taller they are the more hours of sun they get. i have 2 bih plants, one that is going o natural, and another that is getting all its flower pods pinched and lower shoots removed. i know i should eliminate one variable at a time but i only have 2 plants lol...
am i wasting my time? are peppers sort of like determinate tomatoes?

Here is another pic of the plant at the bottom.

To be honest most of them have self pruned from being too close together on the potting bench. I fenerally leave my plants alone with regards to pruning other than pinching out flower buds if the plant is too small. I have found that growing in full sun the plants tend to be bushier and squatter but the ones in partial shade tend to grow taller with more spacing between nodes. As soon as it is ready it will explode into growth. If you can put it outside in a bigger pot it will go off I reckon.

As peppers are perennials I dont believe that they are determinate like tomatoes but saying that there are definately types that grow very short and squat. The experiment sounds interesting keep us up with the results.
