Awesome!!!! I put slit lemongrass stalks in my pressure cooker with a little water and use the water. It's like an intense tea.
 
Not sure, I use this for curry not hot sauce, but if you need a potent tea of fresh lemongrass flavor, give it a try. I only use a little water anyway, and the lemongrass is the parts you would normally discard, the leafy stalks and ends. Kicks up a curry big time!
