pod This is supposed to be a Douglah, ID needed!

I'm not sure what it is yet. But it doesn't look like a Douglah.

Another shot of the same pepper, a few days ago:

And the whole plant (which is about 2.5 feet tall):

So... what's everyone think?

Agree - definitely NOT a douglah. But that aside, the leaves on the plants look very yellow, which is typically from overwatering. If you've had as much rain as we have in N.E. Ohio, could well be the case. Then again, could just be the lighting with the camera. But if they are actually yellowing, you might see if you can take measures to reduce the amount of water they're getting.

Its more Bhut like than Douglah, but it may just be throughing out a few odd pod shapes gie it some time to see if the pods start looking more like a Douglah ater in the season, you could send a pic to Judy, she will make it right. All in All it looks pretty tasty even if its not the Douglah.

Time will tell... if it ripens purple/black then its certainly more likely to be, in fact, a douglah than a chocolate bhut, if indeed your seeds were labeled as douglahs.

Why would a douglah ripen purple or black?? A typical douglah ripens from green to brown
