Tobasco style sauce recipe

Does anyone know if tobasco sauce is made with a basic pepper only fermentation or are there other ingredients/process to make it? I have a bunch of Bbg x Tabasco peppers this year and would like to make a nice thin sauce with them.

One important ingredient - a used Jack Daniels barrel! There is a reason they ferment for 3 years - the actual fermentation doesn't take that long, they're letting flavours from the barrel seep into the mash.
 
Same way whiskey is a "aged" - its not the age that matters, it's the time spent in contact with the barrel while the barrel compounds are leaching into the spirits - the longer, the more flavour.
