seeds Tricot seedling.

Hi ya'll,

I started my seed's late this year. 50% are breaking ground now. 50% are about an inch or so tall. There are three or four different pepper type's with a tri-cotyledon leaf's. I don't remember seeing any of these before. Let alone a few of them from different type's. Did a fairy cropdust me? Does this mean a good harvest this year?

I will try to get pic's up in a bit. If the phone will let me.lol

Got 40 seedlings right now. 4 of them were tri-cots. All seem to be just fine...
It is more than I've had lately, though...

Y'know, all of my tri-cots are from seeds I harvested from my plants last year. None from purchased seeds. How about you?

They seem more likely when the plant is a cross, or varieties where there is still some amount of genetic pollution so to speak. Half of my habanero-cross seeds sprouted with tricots.

That make's sense, since all three of mine are a cross of something or another.
