Looks a lot like a trinidad douglah ...i must say thats a awesome looking chilli plant looks mighty hot and yummy
 
That is indeed a wonderful looking pepper. I have some seeds for a Chocolate Trinidad Scorpion but they look nothing like those. I think I may refrain from growing them. I wouldn't want them to muddy up the waters.

That deep brown is just great. I can't ripen pods that deep in my climate.

Maybe it's an issue with no leaving pods on long enough, but I have received pods from growers in the deep South that achieve a ripe pod color (especially on 7 pot peppers) I cannot get. Almost a burgandy. Same thing when you look at some pods ripened in Trinidad.
