2 weeks is pretty normal for older seeds. Don't throw anything out until the 6 week mark (my record is 46 days now, against all odds it was a very healthy plant).

Damn, patience is not a skill I possess

It has been 2 weeks since my last update;
forgotten to water the plants once since my last update, which meant the end of the Kraken and probably the Vezena Piperka.
Wes Lane's Bad Brains sprouted  :dance:   , Chaguanas and Fidalgo Roxa haven't :( .

One of these day they'll move to their new homes.

I don't recognize half those varieties, but they're looking good.  I don't know about that Datil damage.  Maybe a little bit of bug chew?  As long as it doesn't spread, I wouldn't be too worried.

It's been a month since my last update. Not only has it been busy at work, but my plant were struggling as well. It seemed like they were dying. A couple of weeks ago I found out why. The plant were in soil without nutrient, so practically just dirt. So I changed it and here's the result. Wish I did this sooner.H

Now they're coming back to life, I hope to update my blog more often again

Nice save Wally!  I just picked up a copy of The Whole Chile Pepper Book by Dave DeWitt and Nancy Gerlach. In the section about growing chiles they recommend using a general-purpose, water soluble 15-30-15 fertilizer at the rate of 1/4 teaspoon (about a two finger pinch) of fertilizer to a gallon of water, and using that to water the seedlings. I'd also add myco-bacteria to the soil if it isn't already inoculated, since it helps the seedlings develop strong and healthy roots.

Thanks Rick,

I usually have bags of soil that contain fertilizer for 6 to 12 weeks to get my plants started. Only this time I didn't read so I bought soil with none at all.

I start using chili focus fertilizer after about 2 or 3 months. I'm too lazy to make my own :shh:
