water Watering question, 7 Pot Pepper

I'm about to transplant my 7 Pot pepper into a bigger pot, after I get the plant in the new pot should I water the plant to help it settle in? I watered it the day before yesterday with fish emulsion if that matters. Also, if you have any extra tips about transplanting please let me know.

FYI: I'm not transplanting it for about another 2 or 3 hours. It's 5:41 pm EST, so sometime around 8 or 9 I'm going to go through with it.

probably too late but, I would hold off transplanting until the soil is dry in the smaller container. It makes it way easier to remove the root ball from the pot when all the soil sticks together. Then go ahead and water the newly transplanted plant once its all potted up.
