What are some good ideas for ....

...... making your own hot sauce?
I dont want to start out too complex, so Im just sticking with Vinegar, salt, peppers. Are there any nifty techniques I can use, or supplies I should look into for making it?
I also plan on fermenting the peppers as well, so advice on that would be greatly appreciated!

my preferred method:

take your peppers. put them in the blender. put some white vinegar and a little salt. hit blend. viola. throw it in a jar and put it in the fridge. you've got yourself something...

btw, 2:1, peppers:vinegar
