pests What bug is this?

Hey, i spotted some bug on my lemon drop this morning and was wondering whether i should be concerned about pests. The problem is i haven't had any succes in identifying it. I uploaded a picture but it's not very clear, it was the best i could do. So I'll describe it too: I guess it was (yeah it's dead) some sort of beetle, about 2-3 mm (about 1/10th inch) long, black with two metallic-orange broad stripes on its back. Any ideas anyone?

You could put a rock there and we wouldn't know the difference, try getting a much closer shot, if it's dead it shouldn't be too hard.

Yeah, i knew the minute i saw the picture that it wouldn't be of much use, but since with the photo and the description noone recognizes it i feel reasonably assured that at least it's not some well-known horrific pepperkiller. Next time i spot them i'll squash one in the scanner, see if that produces better results....

Thanks anyway!

As long as you dont have any eaten leaves or stems it's a good sign, or if you dont notice any changes in the plant as well.
