what eating my leaves

something is eating my leaves off at the stems... what could it be???

Rabbits, looks just like when someone down the street let all her rabbits go free. They ravaged my babies,they were small enough for them to eat down to stem nubs. Lost the 3 Bhuts and 2 Nagas I started that year, the last Naga was on some bricks and that saved the top of the plant and it recovered slowly.

Could be a number of critters I would guess... have had an issue with some fruit rats here doing the same thing...
