Super Tasty.I got this Burpee Hybrid from a friend on another forum. Gonna plant it at the same time as Thessaloniki to see which will be best. I think it will be a good Heirloom vs Hybrid challenge.

I'm hoping to narrow down my tomatoes to only 4 varieties.
Probably:
Opalka
Sungold
German red strawberry
Omar's Lebanese or KBX(still looking for seeds)

Like Potawie, I'll narrow my number down quite a bit:

For juice: Red Zebra
For salsa/sauce: Roma
Slicer: Delicious (and or see below)
Early: Siletz or Legend
One or two of the following, depending on how they grow in the GH - Sacramento, Cabernet, Florida 91.

I should have room for about 51-54 plants.

I'm definately growing:
Green Zebra
Snow White
Ramapo
Moreton
Brandywine Red & Yellow
Cherokee Purple

I may order seeds for:
Golden Gem

Right now my plan is:
black krim
san marzano
sun sugar
hillbilly
By the time I start seeds it will probably be totally different.

Purple Russian... and sadly that's all I have room for :( after ending up with *far* too many more chilli varieties than planned hahahha

Even then I'm only growing them as I ended up with some fresh ones the other week after a trip to the local weekend markets. There was no way to stop myself from sowing some of the seed........

Well this will be a fairly long list that may get longer before the end of February when I sow my seeds.

Aker's West Virginia

Arkansas Traveler
Aunt Gertie's Gold
Aunt Ginny's Purple
Big Beef

Even though it's already half way through my growing season, and even though I have absolutely no growing room left, I went ahead and ordered some seeds anyway.

My blatant disregard to the facts aside, here's what will be joining my Russian Purples:

Brandywine
Green Zebra
Marianna's Peace
Mr Stripey
Purple Calabash
Taxi
Tomatillo

and the native Australian Bush Tomato (which I believe is not actually a tomato as such, but rather very closely related - and poisonous when unripe ).
