What type of pepper?

Got this at the grocery, all it said was Long Hot Pepper, haven't tried it yet, the plate is a 10" plate.What is it?

was not ripe that is why. leave them on till the turn red once they are red try it again.

almost looks like Sweet Cayenne, unforunately I do not have pods on my plant yet, but other pictures look exactly like what you have.

It looks a lot like a Cowhorn to me.
