What you growing in 2013

Holy crap. Some of you guys have 1 heck of a list. Your gardens must be measured in acres.

My much smaller list:
Fatalii
Red Bhut
Jalapeno
Mucho Nacho
Orange Thai
Paper Lantern hab
Orange Hab
Yellow scotch bonnet
Tobasco
Cayanne
Pequin
Tepin
Peter Pepper
Bohemian bird pepper
TS Butch T
Yellow Manzano
Corno di Toro (sweet pepper)

I plan on having 2-3 adult plants of each variety this year.

All of these are either growing or just planted and my grow room over the winter and garden in the spring will be absolutely stuffed with this short list. I can't wait to see your gardens in the spring.

I did not know there were so many jalapeno's stefan. Let me know which of the non-hybrids are most
productive. I will be making more jalapeno jelly next year. I only have 1 large bottle left.

The crazy thing is I am growing/grew 3 not on his list.

I was gonna do a ton of different bonnets, chocolate/browns, and 7's mostly. Too hard to decide already! Got at least a couple weeks or more to make a final decision.

I'm going to start all of my chinense's January 1st. That way they will be a nice size when I plant them out May 1st.

Meatfreak the Jalapeno wholesaler :P Your list has expanded nicely your going to very bussy next year :)

Starting to look like it, doesn't it  As long as I plan everything things will work out.

I'm going to start all of my chinense's January 1st. That way they will be a nice size when I plant them out May 1st.

And are you using lights to help them growing or just natural daylight? I started pretty early last year and my plants were already way to big when I planted them out, I'm planning on starting the Chinense at the 29th of January (maybe even a bit later). I will be using my CFL growlights again which gave me great results.

I'm hopeing for quality not quantity next season

my current seedlings are

7 pot Primos
Giant Naga
7 pot Browns

I use florescent 64k and start them in my den. When they get big enough I switch them to my sunroom at a little bit cooler temp, still under
the lights. In my sunroom I have a ceiling fan that toughens them up a little. They are the nice size by then. I'll start a blog next year.

(there are 22 on my list which came free on my Pepperlover.com order. Some I've had. Some are new to me. I'll at least plant a few of each to experiment with new types)

At this rate I'll say "screw the tomatoes!" Bastards don't like the string of 100+ deg days we seem to be having in the summer. At least the peppers tolerate it pretty good!

The crazy thing is I am growing/grew 3 not on his list.

Mmmm- I love the flavor of Jalapeño Purple. Wish they were larger and less seedy, but the flavor makes me keep growing them.
