JUST WANTED I INQUIRE IF ANY OF YOU GOT AN EMAIL FROM A "MISS SOFIA"
THE MESSAGE WAS VERY CRYPTIC IN THAT SHE DIDN'T TELL ME WHAT SHE WANTED??

SHE SAID SHE WAS INTERESTED IN ME?? WELL THAT SET ME AT ODDS A BIT!!!
im a happily married man i hope that it doesn't have anything to do with what i think it may "PORN"

SHE IS NOT A MEMBER HERE FROM WHAT I CAN GATHER??
if anyone knows anything please reply and please this is serious no joking around please
i hate this crap with a passion!!

thanks your friend Joe

My my my...and I thought all you sold was seeds there Joe!? Apparently, you are doing some great advertising if you attracting such a diverse clientele. I guess I need to take some pointers from you buddy! ;)

Sadly, Miss S has not shown any interest in me. I feel so rejected...

my wife is not amused over this and neither am i i dont find this one bit funny

i do have a good scene of humor but this isnt funny to me!!
i love my wife and the last thing i want is for her to think im messing around!!
not that she thinks this but i dont want there to be anything that could cast a shadow on me

if any of you didnt like something you would be very quick to let people know as i did
she contacted me on my personal email this pisses me off!!

thanks joe

It's probably just SPAM. Was there any links or attachments included in the email? I get plenty in my inbox with subjects suggesting someone is "interested in me" or whatever.... but of course, I've never opened one so I have no idea what their purpose could be.........

THANKS GAS!!

it was bogus, i never got one before and found it kinda strange, i replied and told her very married not interested and dont email me again!!!

some of them from what i can surmise are either malicious sites that drop viruses/spy-ware/mal-ware on your computer and or promotion of porn sites

i was really just concerned about everyone on here, sorry i flipped out a little guys, its just that i love this site and like all of you very much, i just wanted to look out for you
please be careful if you get anything like this, many of these sites are full of trouble

i learned alot about these sites from a computer geek buddy of mine who had a job cleaning up peoples computer after crap like this

hope you will all be careful, they truly do play upon you desires and thats how they get ya

thanks your friend joe

if you dont know who sent the email delete it before ever opening it, always!
words to live by when it comes to all emails.

yup always do

this one was different though plus i never get many of those kind, mostly healthcare and other misc crap

thanks joe

Sorry Joe, my first response is always humor. Naturally, my first concern is for those on here I care about. These things happen and just let your relationship with your wife speak for itself. I wouldn't sweat it brother.

im not going to sweat it
thanks your friend joe

Next you'll be telling me that the e-mail I got that says I can make my manhood bigger is bogus too.....

Oh, the humanity!!

;)

SPAM sucks.

+1 on this - by replying you likely opened your email and/or computer up to some garbage you don't want, and may find it impossible to get rid of. Suggestion - get a new email account, tell everyone you need to about it, then discontinue the email you used to reply to the message. Yeah, it sucks to have to do that, especially if you use that for business purposes (or banking, etc.), but you won't regret the hassle of changing email accounts vs. the hassle of what is likely to come next from the account you replied with. Also, go into your registry, msconfig, cookies, etc., and DELETE anything that has the same date on it as the date you replied to "miss sophie's" email - ESPECIALLY If it has an .exe extension.

Welcome to the interweb, Joe!! lol.

Despite the possible offset joy your wife might encounter by other (in)famous e-mails promising untold 'growth potential', it's a safe bet that those are after the same thing as your newly found 'friend' Sofia.

;)

   The last Miss Sophia that I heard of was played by Oprah Winfrey in the Color Purple! That is very common on the WWW. The significant other should not be upset about that......hell for all you know Miss Sophia could have been Mr. Steven. LOL! Its just a part of the internet game these days. Just be careful what you open and If you do not know the person and they are not talking peppers it's better safe to dump it than to open the back door to one of your unattended ports to an offender that can potentially place malicious software on your computer or remove intricate information regarding you from you computer. Oh BTW for those that sell various items make sure you are aware of the current cashier's check and money order scams that are prevalent.

Paulky.......man......I hate to tell you this.....You may wanna take a seat for this one......but you gonna have to forever work with what the old man blessed ya with cause those emails are bogus. Its okay though I promise if you have a few drinks and become squinty eyed it will look bigger!

thanks your friend Joe

Really? this is the first time you ever got unsolicitited strange email? and you visit porn sites? huh. I get unsolicited strange email every time I google something. Usually from someone in Nigeria, who says I've got money somewhere. Sometimes, I've won a sweepstakes, and many times I've been asked for charity from some woman in Russia. Sometimes I get email from "Mom" (my mom is in the nursing home, doesnt have access to the internet). really, get an e-mail address from a server that has a good SPAM filter, dont open anrthing from someone you dont recognize, and oh, if you were my husband? for the sake of your marriage, dont surf porn.

and by the way, the government is watching. Welcome to the 21st Century.

Uh...I know Joe's delivery style takes some getting used to, but unless I missed something, I don't believe he professed to surfing porn. Maybe he does, beats me. But I figured I'd jump in and make sure that if he *doesn't* that this message didn't imply that he does. Because I don't see anything in this thread indicating that he has suggested such a thing.

Not trying to stir the pot, but am trying to protect the dude's rep, ya know?

Some how you got added to a mailers list...not a biggie. Back in the day scanner bots surfed AOL chats for valid addies...and all in the chats where valid.

Simply add the mailers addy to your blocked domains and never open them. If You open it verifies the addy
