Who sells their own sauce?

I sell my own USED TO sell my own at MidwestChileheads.

But after seeing warnings on here and other sites about hobby sauce manufacturers, and knowing that I don't have the time/interest to find a commercial kitchen or copacker, I have bowed out of the hot sauce business and will stick to seeds and powders.

I'll still make my own sauces, but they will just be for gifts and trades.

I know we have people on here who make and sell their own sauce (have already bought from a few of you)

Anyway, if you make and sell your own let us all know - and if you have a site post a link please

Uncle Jester's Fine Foods is a wholesale food manufacturing company in Centerville, OH. We manufacture our own brands. We also provide custom commercial co-packing and private label manufacturing services to our select clientele.

I just created an etsy account and I'm planning on selling hot sauces really soon on there. I know nothing about the market yet and thought I'd start small like that. Or maybe farmer's markets and their ilk. I strive to make unique and different sauces. Why make a sauce like everyone out there?

what's an etsy account?

(trying to figure out if Blackseed meant to type "eBay" or ????) serious question, would like to know. Thanks. SL

edit- off to google to research etsy :)

Not sure how much interest your gonna get from etsy since it's mainly for artist / home made crafts. I sell my hand made ceramics on their from time to time and it's great for that.

i have small amounts of several homemade sauces, datil apple butter, and pure pepper powders for sale currently...

I make sauces and label them for friends, but I haven't gone through the hoops of trying to legalize the process for sales. I do some private label work using sauces from established companies and label them for a couple local restaurants. But that's really just a hobby and a favor I do for some bar owner friends in my area, I don't make anything from it.

Hello,

I started Booeybrands a few months ago to promote my love of great tasting and origional ot sauces. My first sauce is a three pepper blend of Scorpion chilies(Butch T Strain), ghost peppers and fresh habanero peppers. Its all natural, gluten and sugar free !! The sauce is very hot but with a unique flavor. Its a bit sweet at first, then the scorpion hits you and later the ghost takes it up and carries it away for a while..

I have another sauce in the works( Botteling at this moment) Its a Thai green chili sauce. Again very unique flavor from the thai chilies, but with tomatillos and roasted hatch chili peppers. My third sauce is a trinidad/jamaican jerk sauce. This should be available in july..

My facebook page is in development and if anyone would like more information or a bottle of the "Dias De Las Muertes" (Days of the dead" three pepper sauce, Please feel free to email me at Booeybrands@yahoo.com....

Thanks for reading..... :onfire: :hell:
