Wild chili in the jungles of Christmas Island

So I was foraging in the jungles of Christmas Island and came across these, and they taste absolutely delicious. Would anyone be able to help identify what these might be? They don't seem like the regular birds eye - pods appear much smaller and slimmer, although that may just be the fact that they're growing wild in the jungle.

Thanks in advance!

Thanks for the replies!

I'm thinking of buying seeds to recreate this at home (I live in Western Australia so I can't simply take the seeds back with me).

Would Aji Chuncho be the best seed to try and source? Or would there be other varieties that might be similar?

Thanks again!

There is nothing in the world that would stop me from taking wild found pods home.

What is standing in your way? It's a tiny little pod...
