Will algae affect AACT?

thanks for such a quick response. I'm picking up a couple pumps and airstones tomorrow. I should probably aerate all of the water i'll be using? Like if i'm making one 5 gallon bucket of tea, and mixing it with 20 gallons of regular water.

I would aerate all of the water, as soon as the beneficial bacteria detect low oxygen levels, their multiplying slows down. Then the bad, smelly anaerobic bacteria begin to take over.

Don't forget the un-sulphured molasses btw. It has iron, folate, B vitamins, magnesium, calcium, potassium, phosphorus, selenium, manganese, copper, zinc. The bacteria will render these minerals into a form that the plants can absord.
