overwintering Winter retreat

this is how I feel about winter...

I would love to move to the Islands...like Trinidad where you can grow year round...

AJ I share your opinion of winter. MN doesn't get as drastic as Canada, one of my friends up by Edmonton calls it Iberia, but it can get down below zero a lot. Lately we haven't had normal zone 4 stuff but it's definitely prairie and wide open up here. Haven't had a good blizzard since 91-92. If it snows for Christmas eve I'm ready for spring the next day...but that's just my wishful thinking.

I don't mind winter at all, I'm one of the few people in the UK that actually likes it when the clocks change and it gets dark at 4:30pm. Saying that I don't like being cold, but I love being nice and cosy on a cold, windy night with the heating on.

I hate winter! But my wife won't move away with me so I am stuck in Canada :|

Although I do love it here, just not in the winter
